After over 10 years in leadership, recruitment, and client service roles, I witnessed first-hand how burnout, admin overload, and poor work culture can hold brilliant businesses (and people) back. I knew there had to be a better way to grow — one rooted in trust, wellness, and support. Ascend was born from that vision.

Kia ora, I’m Te Kapua — Co-Founder of Ascend Assistants and your go-to for all things lead generation and Facebook Ads strategy.
With a background in sales, recruitment, and leadership, I’ve helped over 300 people into meaningful employment and supported many businesses across Aotearoa to grow their reach, build stronger client pipelines, and convert with confidence.
I bring an analytical mind, a love for strategy, and a genuine passion for helping people succeed.

My Role at Ascend
As our Growth & Engagement Manager, I specialise in connecting businesses with opportunities that align — from Facebook Ad campaigns to lead-gen funnels and client attraction strategies. Every business is different, so I take the time to understand your goals and craft tailored solutions that deliver real results.
Why I Do This Work
People are at the centre of everything I do. My experience in case management and people-first leadership means I bring both adaptability and genuine connection to the table — whether I’m building ads or building trust.
